Useless reporting and senseless editing would be curtailed after this step
In a major rehabilitation step, Times of India and Hindustan Times Group requested government to extend Right to Education Act (RTE) to their reporters and editors which are intellectually weaker sections.
RTE was first established to mandate schools to provide free education to 25% of students from economically weaker sections between 6 to 14 years of age. However, the government is seriously considering the proposals of two largest news media groups to improve the value of the print media.
The development came after promoters of both the groups read many comments seriously spitting on the level of intellect of editors and reporters which gave dumb stories like these on Times of India and Hindustan Times.
Ronit Malhotra, MD of Times of India said "We are fed up of the stories and comments on the content quality of ours which is getting deteriorated day by day. Therefore, we request the government to extend the law to our reporters and editors so that mass audience will see good reports."
Malhotra ensured that after taking such steps news stories luring Congress party and big corporate houses will reduce drastically by almost 20%.
